Looking to apply to for funding from v?
We can help you…
At the Red Foundation we are totally committed to youth volunteering and passionate about supporting the v agenda. Our team is in a unique position to help you with your application to v’s next grant round, whether it’s to create new opportunities or to host a vTeam.
How we can help you:
For a fixed fee of £225 we will:
- Help you to scope your project: Initial discussion to help you to decide what to apply for, an important first step. As well as talking you through the funding criteria our team will also give you their professional view on how to make your project more likely to fit with the v requirements.
- Provide first draft feedback: our team will review your first draft, edit and make suggested amendments where required.
- ‘youth proof’: giving you suggestions on how to ensure your application meets the v requirements for being youth led.
- Provide next stage feedback: talking you through the first draft and ensuring our feedback is clear and that we agree on next steps.
- Final edit: our final review and edit so that it’s ready for submission.
This service is provided virtually, by phone and email so it’s flexible and easy to access; we can also arrange face to face meetings, at additional cost if required.
Of course we cannot guarantee that your application will succeed but our input will help to ensure that your bid has the edge.
To quote some of our satisfied customers from the last v grant round:
"Working with the Red Foundation has proven to be the most cost effective investment we’ve made all year. It is the straightforward, honest approach that makes us certain we will work together again in the future." Ben Matthews, Director, Lancaster University Volunteering Unit.
"We used the Red Foundation to support our application for a large v bid. Their knowledge and expertise in youth action and engagement was invaluable, and the ‘can do’ approach to problem resolution had a very positive impact on the bid writing process. It was the first time that our organisation had used a consultant in this way, and we were extremely happy with the process." Sophie Wilson, Regional Director, SOVA
