i-volunteer
i-volunteer is a new social network that connects volunteers, volunteer managers and charities that need volunteer help.
Launched on International Volunteer Day in December 2009, i-volunteer is the UK's first social network that brings people and organisations together in a multi media environment where they can blog, comment, share and connect skills offered with help needed.
i-volunteer has already been dubbed as the 'facebook for volunteering' and is fast becoming a leading source of comment, news and opinion through a range of commissioned editorial and through the blogs and posts made by the growing i-volunteer community. The site is under development and version 2, due out in the summer of 2010, will bring a host of new features including document sharing, chat, posting events and much more.
