Gudrun Limbrick
Research Development Associate
Gudrun has been working with the voluntary sector for the past twenty years. Since 1993, she has specialised in supporting voluntary and community organisations in two fields ? capacity building (including fundraising and governance) and research and evaluation.
Other specialisms include community needs analysis, multi-perspective project evaluation, strategy development, community participation. Recent work includes community mapping and needs analyses to inform the work of community safety teams in four geographical areas. Gudrun has also carried out several evaluations for Volunteer Development England (Volunteering England); a review of the Millennium Volunteers Scheme; and has worked with Youth Action Network.
Gudrun?s two decades? of experience supplement an academic background, which includes a first degree from Oxford University and a Masters in Research and Social Policy from Birmingham University.
In 1999, she was one of the founding trustees of The Handsel Trust, a UK-wide independent charity whose pioneering work has informed the National Service Framework for Children and other key pieces of guidance relating to the support of families who have children with disabilities. She remains a trustee of the Trust.
Gudrun joined the Red Foundation in 2007 and we are delighted to welcome her to the team.
